Appointed by Hampshire County Council, Hi-Tech Property Services successfully completed refurbishment of Andover Police Station Offices. Following a brief decant by the operational team, our construction team had a brief window of opportunity to carry a refresh to these rather jaded premises. Works involved formation of open offices, new flooring and finishes across a number of office spaces in preparation for re-occupation by the Policing staff and personnel.
The appointing client and stakeholders were delighted with the results along with the attitude and collaborative support of our construction team.
Hi-Tech are pleased to be working in partnership with Rushmoor Borough Council in undertaking the sensitive conservation, restoration and refurbishment of 12 shop fronts in part of Aldershot’s historic old town.
Situated within a local conservation area, this challenging but exciting project incorporates the replacement of tired and dilapidated shop fenestration to this small parade of Victorian shop units.
The work involves the fabrication and installation of bespoke joinery and glazing, awnings, signage and lighting along with careful restorative works to corbels, pilaster, consoles and finials all to designed to reflect sympathetically and sensitively its bygone Victorian heritage and bring new life to this forgotten part of the old town.
This 12 week contract requires careful planning and co-ordination, as work is being undertaken whilst the retail units are still trading to minimise trading impact on the retailers and thus health, security and protection all provide fundamental requirements for successful completion.
In order to complete the works successfully, our programme requires a seamless and measured production line process combined with the highest levels of skill resource to meet the expectations of clients and stakeholders.
Retailers and clients are responding very favourably with quality and visual impact these works are having on their individual shop units, as we approach completion of our fourth shop unit in the series.
Hi-Tech Property Services have successfully completed the alterations and conversion of a former pre-school facility into new school reception facility at Mason Moore Primary School on behalf of Southampton City Council.
Works began just prior to the summer holiday where the children could see the development of their new reception facilities to the school and commenced during the Summer recess in preparation for the new term in September. Alterations included new office space, reception area, toilet facilities and medical room as well as some external landscaping and refreshment of the rather tired looking facades.<
An exciting project which engendered a great deal of collaboration and contribution from the staff and pupils alike and yielded a significant positive impact on access to the school by staff, pupils and parents. The children even had a guided tour during its development and asked very pertinent questions on the scheme as part of a presentation initiative they were undertaking on behalf of the school.
A great project, completed beyond expectations and helping to transform a redundant area in more serviceable space for this wonderful school
